"Caroline Fighiera is a bit of a magician. In a contemporary world that tends to lose its bearings and where many warning signs of barbarism reappear, her work questions, with force, grace and poetry. With a desire to go to the Essence, she wonders. What is the place of humankind in this fast moving world?

From her deeper self, and moved by the power of a gesture combined with a tremendous intuition of the movement, she challenges our current position.

Shifting naturally between the telluric and the ethereal, each of her work is an epiphany in which the encounter of a soul and a hand is revealed.

Carefully choosing her surfaces whether wood, sometimes exotic, or textiles such as linen, wool, cotton or silk, she projects on them materials as natural as Japanese ink, soil, marble powder without deprecating food ingredients such as beetroot, wine, corn starch, salt ...

As for her tools, picked from everyday life and the household field, they are there sometimes as an complement of the hand, to emphasize a conquered freedom.

Entirely inspired, Caroline Fighiera has no boundaries and gives way to unforeseen but happy surprises that will enrich her practice.

Her work embraces the elements - mandatory components for her of the finished artwork. Unvarnished, her work remains alive, evolving under the assaults of the air, the light and the time, support and surface forming one and being the illustration of this unique moment where creation, art lover, and creator become united.

Rythmical, her work also reveals the preponderant place occupied by music. If , first and foremost, it is for her a universal language that elevates the soul and opens us to grace, music allows her as well,  in a sensual, spontaneous way, to give her inspiration free rein.

Caroline Fighiera work, powerful but delicate, sensual and lyrical, in the end so right, is at a point of convergence and culmination of different founding currents of contemporary art that is extended with elegance and determination. That is why her astonishing accuracy touches us.

Eventually, her work reveals to us the experience of a multiple and cosmopolitan life of a "beautiful being" who knows how to transcend the particularisms to reach the universal."
